Dasha Olovyannikova – Miss Canada Nation Universe 2023
In the gleaming universe of beauty and fashion, a rising star has become visible, captivating people with her talent, grace, and unyielding resolution. Meet Dasha Olovyannikova, the reigning Miss Canada Nation Universe 2023 Titleholder.
Dasha’s journey into the modelling world started when a friend, who was a talented dress designer, offered her an extraordinary opportunity of modelling for her brand. A little curiosity and interest compelled her to accept her friend’s request. Dasha agreed to become a model for her brand, but little did she know that this would change her life forever.
The pictures from the shoot displayed her natural elegance and charm, leaving Dasha with an actualisation that modelling was her true calling. Encouraged by the compliments from family and friends, Dasha embarked on a new journey, committing herself to a professional modelling career.
In February of this year, during the Super Chic New York Fashion Week show, Dasha’s runway career took an unforgettable turn. Observing her enthralling presence on the runway, she was selected by the Miss Nation Universe Pageant; (the international competition of the Miss US Nation Pageant). Endorsing her potential, she was appointed to represent the region of Vancouver in the national pageant for Miss Canada Nation Universe.
Dasha believes the modelling field is more than perfect bodies and shapes. She firmly believes in diversity, which in her view, is the industry’s bedrock. She considers that the runway industry transcends traditional beauty norms, embracing people’s individuality and celebrating the talent within.
When asked about her aspirations for the future, Dasha shared that she plans to engage with modelling agencies and use her title and newfound platform to reach even greater heights. Dasha’s passion drives her to participate in renowned runways across the globe.
She dreams of working with industry-leading fashion brands as a model and continuing to grow her presence by being featured at Fashion Weeks in NY, Paris, Milan and other major cities which is an opportunity that being a part of the Miss US Nation Pageant will extend to her- to walk for these great fashion weeks as a part of the Super Chic Fashion Tour; which is the official producer of Miss US Nation.
In the near future, Dasha envisions herself as an agency owner, and professional model gracing the world’s most prestigious runways. Her title represents who she is—an ambitious and optimistic individual ready to leave a mark on the modelling industry. Her ambitions are not limited to professional milestones alone; she also hopes to build a loving family and experience the joy of walking life’s runways hand in hand with her loved ones.
Beyond her career achievements, Dasha wishes to make a difference in the lives of others through an organisation named ‘Make-A-Wish Foundation’ dedicated to granting the wishes of children. When she attended their inspiring ball for the first time, she witnessed firsthand the joy and hoped these wishes brought to children and their families. Motivated by this experience, she remains devoted to supporting and donating to this great organisation as they continue transforming lives.
Dasha also aims to break certain stereotypes in the modelling industry. She wishes to eliminate the height requirement. Besides modelling, Dasha possesses many unique talents like horseback riding, gymnastics, and competitive cheerleading. With every step she takes, Dasha brings us closer to a world where beauty knows no boundaries and aspirations are within reach for all who dare to chase them.
